A little about Colleen:
As a proud Anishinaabe woman originally from Garden River First Nation, I am the daughter of a Residential School Survivor. I am guided by the teachings of bravery, respect, and humility and passionate about empowering others to learn, grow, and succeed through engaging, inspiring, and culturally grounded training. Since 2020, I’ve taught over 2,000 people to make their own traditional moccasins and mitts — a craft that has become a new passion and a way to connect to culture. I value building strong relationships and partnerships that strengthen our communities and create lasting opportunities for our people.
